You are about to let a stranger work on your feet for an hour or more. Here is who they are, what the state registered them to do, and where they stop and send you to a podiatrist.

Who works on your feet

Your appointment is with Tetiana, Lina, or Katy. All three are Florida-registered nail specialists with [years of experience] years behind the chair. They work with clients in [languages].

Feet all day, every day. That is why a thick nail gets a different hand than the heel that splits every winter. If you have diabetes, tell us what your podiatrist recommends and we work to it. And when something is past what a nail specialist is allowed to do, you hear it out loud.

What the credentials mean

“Certified” gets used loosely in this business. Here is the plain version.

Florida nail specialist registration. The state credential for nail work, from the Department of Business and Professional Regulation: 180 hours of training, focused on sanitation and safety. License [DBPR license numbers]. Look it up on DBPR before you come.

[certificate name], [issuer], [year]. A private program. Not a state license, and not a medical one.

Nobody here is a doctor, and this is not a doctor’s office. You get a nail specialist with extra training, for feet that need care more than color.

Why a hygienic pedicure

A salon pedicure is a cosmetic service: soak, scrub, polish, done. A hygienic pedicure spends the same hour on the parts that bother you. Thick nails are thinned and shaped. Hard skin is smoothed with an e-file.

There is no footbath, so nothing sits in shared water. Instruments are sterilized in a dry-heat sterilizer and opened at your chair.

Where the podiatrist comes in

[Works with a podiatrist for anything we are not allowed to do.]

If your toe is hot, swollen or keeping you up at night, that is a doctor’s job. You will hear it at the chair. Same for a nail that comes back wrong after every visit. Knowing where to stop is the part most chairs skip, and it is the reason to book a specialist.

The studio

[The KART products and the sterilization station are in the room where you can see them.] Files and buffers are used once, then thrown away. Everything you would want to check is out where you can see it.

What we hold ourselves to

We say no when the answer is no, and we say who to see instead. Every price is on the pricing page before you book, with the time the visit takes. [Reviews go up the way clients wrote them, with their permission and nothing edited out.] And what happens to the instruments between clients is written out in full, not summarized in a badge.

Read how we sterilize, or what clients say. If you already know what you need, see the hygienic pedicure.
