Privacy policy

How this site handles your data. Short version: it asks you for nothing, and it counts a handful of clicks.

What we collect

This site has no forms, no accounts and no newsletter. It never asks for your name, your email or your phone number.

Booking happens on Square, not here. Every Book button sends you to Square's own booking page. What you type there is covered by Square's privacy policy.

Call or email us and your message reaches us, the way it would at any business. We do not add you to a mailing list, because there is no list.

Analytics and advertising

We use Google Analytics 4 to see which pages people read and how they arrive. It records the page, the referrer, and the browser and device you are on. It works out an approximate location from your IP address. It also counts a short list of actions: booking clicks, phone taps, gift card clicks.

We also run a Google Ads tag, id AW-16817884203. It counts the same booking and call clicks as conversions, so the ad report can show whether an ad led to a booking. Google receives the fact that a click happened. It does not receive your name, because we never had it.

Ad personalization is switched off for every visitor, everywhere. We use these tags to count, not to follow you around the web.

The site uses Google Consent Mode v2 with defaults set by region.

In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, storage starts denied. You see a small bar at the bottom of the screen and nothing is stored until you pick Accept or Decline. Decline and the site works exactly the same.

Everywhere else, including the US, storage starts granted. No bar appears.

Declining does not remove the Google tag from the page. The script still loads and still sends a ping, but with consent denied it writes no cookie and carries no identifier. That is how Consent Mode is built, and we would rather say so than imply the tag is gone.

Cookies and browser storage

Two values, both small:

mp_cc is a cookie holding a two-letter country code, such as US or DE. It lasts a year. It exists so the site knows whether to show you the consent bar.
mp_consent is your Accept or Decline choice. It stays in your browser's local storage, so we do not have to ask twice. It is never sent to us.

Accept, and Google sets its own analytics and ads cookies too. Decline, and it sets none.

You can clear both at any time in your browser settings.

Third parties

Square runs booking, payment and gift cards. You reach it from any Book button and from the gift card page.
Google provides the analytics and advertising tags above, and the Google Maps embed on the contact page. The map loads below the fold and sends your request to Google when it does.
Vercel hosts the site. Vercel Speed Insights measures how fast pages load, and sets no cookie.

Selling your data

We do not sell personal data. The site has no forms, so it collects no health, biometric or precise-location data of any kind. We share conversion signals with Google Ads, as described above, and nothing else with anyone.

Your choices

Decline the consent bar, or clear the two values above, or block cookies in your browser settings. None of it changes how the site works.
