How we care for these feet

The work is dry, gentle and unhurried. Nails are shaped and thick ones thinned, and the skin you can see is smoothed, with an electric file and hand instruments. We never cut living skin.

Tell us what your doctor or podiatrist recommends and we work to it. This is cosmetic care by a nail specialist. We do not diagnose, and we do not replace your podiatrist.

If we see anything that looks like a wound, redness, swelling or infection, we stop and send you to your podiatrist before anything else.

What to expect

To book this care, call us or send a photo of the feet, and our administrator takes it from there. We book it this way so we can see what we are working with and tell you what we can do before you come.

The visit is unhurried, and the specialist explains each step as it happens. Afterwards you get plain instructions for home: moisturizer on the skin most nights, not between the toes.

Before you book, tell us what bothers you and anything about your health that affects your feet. The specialist plans the visit around that, and says so plainly if something is past what a nail specialist may do.

A nail specialist cares for the nails and skin you can see. Anything inflamed, infected or painful is a podiatrist’s job.

Our sterilization protocol

Standards you can see

Every client gets a sterilized set, opened at the chair. Every reusable instrument is sterilized in a dry-heat sterilizer. It comes to your chair in a sealed, dated pouch, and we open it in front of you.

Between clients we disinfect the chair, the station and the e-file handpiece. Fresh gloves and a fresh liner for every visit.

How a hygienic pedicure works

We look at your nails and feet and ask what bothers you.
We suggest options and work dry or with KART products.
We smooth hard skin and heels, then shape and finish.
We explain home care in plain words and set a date to come back.
